Chicken Karahi, repared in a reduced tomato and green-chilli base, a karahi is a popular late-night meal in Pakistani cuisine, usually ordered by the kilogram and consumed with naan.

Ingredients:

  • Chicken 1 kg
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Ginger garlic 1 tbsp
  • Grinded green chilies 8
  • Roasted & crushed white cumin 1 tbsp
  • All spice 1/2 tsp
  • Crushed black pepper 1 tsp
  • Yogurt 1/2 cup
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Fresh cream 2 tbsp
  • Ginger slice 2 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Whole green chilies 4

Preparation Method:

Heat oil, add ginger garlic, salt, grinded green chilies, red chilies, cumin and yogurt.
Now add chicken, fry it, cover it and cook until chicken tender.
Then put lemon juice, all spice, cream, ginger and green chilies, simmer it for 5 minutes and serve.
